Bingo Variations Review

Bingo Variations include two most popular versions of the bingo game. One is played in the US and Canada mainly and therefore most often it's referred to as the American bingo, while the other is played in Australia, New Zealand, and other countries.  Actually if you look at the map where the former and the latter are played you will see that the housie bingo variation is more spread, but the American bingo is nonetheless gamed by thousands of people.

The above bingo variations have some significant differences between. The American bingo variation has the range of 1 to 75 numbers, while the housie has 15 more numbers, that's why in total having 90 numbers, and that is quite the matter altogether. The main point is that the housie, it's the so-called European bingo variation has a different bingo card, holding 3 horizontal lines and 9 vertical columns.  Players check off the numbers that a caller announces, in order to reach a winning combination of some particular bingo hall. As a matter of fact bingo rules remain the same for the American bingo variation, while there's some important difference concerning the housie worth spotting. Each column has 10 numbers to check off, they are easy to determine, for the first column they are of the first ten,  the second column holds numbers of the second ten, and so forth up to the ninth column that has numbers in a range of 81 to 90.

As for winning the housie bingo variation it should be stated that the same fifteen numbers ticked off will be the hugest win, while one line or two column promise some smaller wins. Keep in mind that each line should keep 5 numbers marked off.

By the way, there is one more bingo variation, the so called informal version with Christmas gifts as prizes. Each player should bring some three presents wrapped in paper. Each time a caller calls out a number, all the players who have the number choose  some presents. Then another number will be announced, the game goes on till there is no presents left. It's a nice Christmas bingo variation to have some prizes-surprises, isn't it?

Which bingo variation to play is a matter of preference, but may fortune follow you!
